Our kitchen garden
The veggie garden doesn’t know about the global economy.
Our plants are unaware of debt or food shortages. They just grow food.
The plants know if we work hard to feed and weed them. And we can only harvest if we sow, plant, weed and water.
Visit our family garden in the evening to see what is growing.
I germinate all our seed in these. Plastic bottles cut in half make efficient micro green houses. Resistant to wind, rain, hens, possums, snails and small children.

After germination in the half-bottle, I planted out the small plants with the plastic bottle top half over them for added protection.
